Jackson Paul Heckel

  • Fav_of_jack1
Little Jack was born on December 11, 2002 at Milwaukee Children's Hospital. He was born with a very rare congenital heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. A day and a half after he was born Jack had open heart surgery. He stayed in the hospital for just over 3 weeks and then we brought him home to Madison. Unfortunately Jack's heart just couldn't take it and he passed away just six days after we brought him home. He is forever in our hearts. "I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear...)" E.E. Cummings
